Code of Conduct

Padel Green is more than a platform; it is a community built on Respect, Sustainability, and Active Living. To ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all, every member is required to adhere to this Code of Conduct.

1. Our Core Values

• Inclusivity: We welcome members of all fitness levels, backgrounds, and identities.
• Safety: We look out for one another on the road, on the court, and on the trail.
• Sustainability: We respect our environment and strive to leave no trace.

2. Zero Tolerance for Harassment

We do not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind. This includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or religion. Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or unwelcome sexual attention will result in immediate expulsion.

3. Event Etiquette

On the Court (Padel):

• Respect your opponents and partners. Keep competitive spirit healthy.
• Do not damage court equipment or rackets in frustration.
• Adhere to the court booking times strictly.

On the Road/Trail (Running & Cycling):

• No Drop Policy: On social rides/runs, we leave no one behind unless specified as an "Advanced/Drop" session.
• Obey Traffic Laws: All cyclists and runners must adhere to South African traffic laws.
• Listen to Leaders: Respect the instructions of the designated Ride Captain or Run Leader.

4. Sustainability Commitment

As an eco-active community, we expect members to:

• Dispose of waste properly. Do not drop gel wrappers or bottles on trails.
• Use reusable water bottles and coffee cups at events whenever possible.
• Respect wildlife and natural habitats during urban exploration.

5. Equipment & Rentals

Treat rental equipment (bikes, rackets) with the same care you would your own. Report any damage immediately so we can ensure safety for the next user.

6. Reporting Violations

If you experience or witness behavior that violates this code, please report it immediately.

• On Site: Speak to a Padel Green staff member or event leader.
• Online: Email our Conduct Committee at conduct@padelgreen.co.za.

All reports will be handled with discretion. We reserve the right to revoke membership without refund for serious violations of this code.
